2014 marked Apple’s first foray into social media. We launched a fun and colorful campaign to help everyone meet the new 5c. At the center of the campaign was an animation hub filled with creative designed around colorful new device. I worked closely with the developers to pioneer a way to translate animation into this completely custom HTML5 Tumblr site. The color combination possibilities of 5 new devices with 6 new case colors let you speak with an iPhone like never before.
In the end we created over 40 iPhone color story animations that were localized in 10 countries, blasted all over the internet, and drove millions of clicks back to apple.com to learn more. Banners featured in New York Magazine, Pitchfork and Wired. Pre-roll featured on YouTube, Vevo and ESPN.
